9 Year Old Girl Donates Birthday Money and Gifts to Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation

This is a display of an ultimate act of selflessness. Something we don't hear about often enough. A local girl decided that for her 9th birthday earlier this month, instead of presents she wanted to raise money for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation.

Chloe Kennedy ended up donating nearly $400 to the foundation! On top of that. she asked the guests at her birthday party to bring donations instead of gifts for her.

Way to go, Chloe!

The TCCC Foundation helps support programs and services that the Cancer Center provides to patients and their families at no cost. The donations that Chloe raised will help with community programs, like no-cost screenings, cancer-education presentations, and classes in the Wellness Center.
