What Gives Me a Sense of Happiness — You’ll Think It’s Stupid
I was walking with a friend to the grocery store last night and we were talking.
I've been living on my own for almost a year, so adulthood is gradually coming to me. Adulthood is making me happy, and in the weirdest way. Even though nearly every dollar I make is accounted for by some bill or payment, I'm glad just to have the money to pay it off. I don't have to worry about it. I'm glad to even have the bill to pay in the first place. I feel purpose. The "I've got it taken care of" feeling.
It's those little moments in life I live for. The little mundane things in life that help me understand why we are here. We are just here to be happy in whatever way we can be.
