Deputies Seeking Driver of Stolen Wrecked SUV

The search continues near Prosser for the driver of this SUV, after a Friday crash that left the vehicle abandoned.

Deputies with the Sheriff's Department responded to calls about the wreck, but prior to their arrival the suspect was seen walking away. The crash occurred in the 400 block of North River Road. A check on the plates and VIN showed it had previously been reported stolen out of Sunnyside.

Despite a K-9 track up North River Road, the suspect was unable to be located. Witnesses described the driver as being a Hispanic male, about 5' 10" wearing a blue coat and blue hat. The investigation continues.
