For the first time in 9 years, the Northwest League of Professional Baseball will hold an All-Star Game on August 6th! Tune in to the game on our sister station Newstalk 870 KFLD!

Three pitchers and two position players from the Tri-City Dust Devils are on the roster for the North Division All-Stars. Pitchers Ryan Warner, Jiminian Johendi, and Trent Daniel. Daniel, who leads the entire NWL with 10 saves, will likely be the closer for the North Division if they are in a position to win late in the game. Also outfielder Sean Dwyer and infielder Alex Mehrten are hitting near the top of the league with batting averages of .373 and .323 respectively.

WSU football radio legend Bob Robertson will help broadcast the game, and a great honor for your Dust Devils radio announcer Chris King, as he will be doing the on-field and dugout interviews during the game and between innings!  The game will be played at  Everett Memorial Stadium this year, the home of the Mariner's Northwest League A team, the Aquasox.

The pregame will begin at 6:30 live on Newstalk 870, with streaming on the stations website as well. Be sure to listen in, the Northwest League All-Star game, Tuesday August 6th exclusively on Newstalk 870!
