Remember Loudermilk and their big label debut The Red Record?

I love that album still.

One of my friends from college started a band with former Loudermilk/Gosling singer Davey Ingersol. They're called the Echolarks, they're a hybrid of indie with 50's surf rockabilly. They just released a couple of singles from their upcoming E.P.
