Tom Morello has lead an interesting life, with some of the craziest stories happening before he took stage with Rage Against the Machine.

Rolling Stone ranked him at #40 on their Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

We all know Tom Morello is a political guy. He was a political sciences student at Harvard in the 1980's. He graduated with his BA in social studies.

Upon graduation, he wasn't able to get a job in his field right away. He got by as a stripper, going by Tom "Meat Swinger" Morello.

He's been quoted saying "...I did bachelorette parties and I'd go down to my boxer shorts. Would I go further? All I can say is thank God it was in the time before YouTube!"

Tom's roller coaster of career choices was far from over after he hung up the undies. In the late 80's, he worked in a Democratic Senator's office, however he ultimately chose not to pursue politics.

By 1992, he had released his first album with Rage Against the Machine, and the rest is rock and roll history!
