It’s A Trap! Hermiston High Club Defends State Shooting Title

Any time a group can repeat as champions in any sport at any level there is a sense of pride, appreciation and respect.

Respect the Hermiston High trap shooting club members who defended their state crown.

There was high drama too, as Hermiston was tied with a team from Molalla with 465 points. The tie-breaker, at the Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club, was either team's high-gun score and the Bulldogs' Blake Betz's 97 score was overall high-gun honors for the tournament and that clinched the Bulldogs' second consecutive Oregon state championship.
