Richland Police are searching for two missing children and a Silver Chevrolet Equinox and so far, both the vehicle and the children haven't been located.

A 13-year-old girl drove off with her 7-year-old autistic brother in the family vehicle and police are still searching for the children.

Here are the details of the case according to a posting from the Richland Police Department:

Richland Police Officers were dispatched to a missing child report on 04-20-21 at approximately 9:00 pm.

Officers were told by parents that their 13-year-old daughter took the family car and drove away with her 7-year-old autistic brother. The children are still missing and considered endangered.

The vehicle is a Silver Chevrolet Equinox with Washington license plate BWM7177 (shown in photo).

The 7-year-old is named Liam and he is about 3’10” tall, 70 lbs, short fade cut brown hair and blue eyes. The 13-year-old girl is named Emaleigh (pronounced Emily) is 5’00”, 130 lbs, light brown hair with teal highlights and blue eyes.

They were last seen in the area of the 1400 block of Farrell Lane, in Richland.

An amber alert has been released as of this writing and the police are still in search of the children. We've posted a photo below of the vehicle that the children took from the family home. The vehicle is a Silver Chevrolet Equinox with Washington license plate BWM7177
