Oct. 29 Is National Hermit Day — Could You Shut Down For A Day?
Between Yakima Valley and Tri-Cities, you can barely see the road from all of this fog. Winter is coming and I hate it. I am glad that "they" have made a day for me: National Hermit Day! I would love to disconnect my phone, Internet, TV and any social media just to sleep all day. Or drink lots of beer and THEN sleep all day.
Hermit Day is believed to be named after St. Colman who died in Ireland in 632 A.D. He had a seven-year hermitage in a cave in the Burren Forest.
Cheers to all of those who feel the exact same way -- happy National Hermit Day to us all!
