Pasco Man Arrested in Horrific Child Abuse Beating

After an investigation, Pasco Police now report a man is in the Franklin County jail, facing  charges in the abuse of an infant.

Police say Tre'vere Brown, who is reportedly the boyfriend of the child's mother, was arrested March 20 after an investigation.

Police were alerted March 18 when a 'person' called CPS to report seeing various stages of bruising on the little girl, who is not quite one year old. They moved quickly on the matter, contacting the mother and interviewing multiple sources as well as looking at the child.

Police said a medical examination found the child suffering from multiple broken bones, including wrist, clavicle (collarbone) and ribs. She also had bruising to her face and chest. Some of the wounds were in various stages of healing, and all the evidence was consistent with likely ongoing abuse.

The child is now in protective custody, and the suspect is facing charges in jail. The investigation continues.
