Richland Mourns Death of Neal Reau on Oregon’s HWY 207

Richland man Neal Reau was driving south on Highway 207 toward Lexington, Oregon, in a small Honda Fit when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

Wednesday afternoon Reau left his lane and side-swiped a large 2009 Chevy pulling a flatbed trailer. He died at the scene and the driver was taken to a Heppner hospital. He was 35.

Hwy 207 was closed for five hours while Murrow County officials responded and cleaned up the scene.
