Apparently the four suspects were trying to cover up a crime.

Okanogan County Sheriff's report four men were arrested  and booked Monday into the county jail after a partially submerged body was found floating near a boat launch in the Columbia River.

The body was found Sunday morning near Pateros,  a small town near Wenatchee that's alongside the Columbia River.  By road, it's about 175 miles Northwest of Tri-Cities.

Officials said the four men apparently killed the suspect during a fight at a location in Pateros, then took his body and dumped it in the river.  The man's cousin had reported the victim missing Saturday.

Neither the victim nor the suspects identities have been released.  The suspects are in jail on investigation of murder.
