The film is a 92-minute opus that will likely leave theatergoers speechless when the end credits roll.
Last night (Sept. 24), Metallica made a rare television appearance by gracing the set of Comedy Central's 'The Colbert Report.' Promoting their new 3D concert film 'Metallica: Through the Never,' the four horsemen sat down for a hilarious interview with Stephen Colbert before performing 'Master of Puppets' and 'For Whom the Bell Tolls.'
It seems like Metallica have been painstakingly working on their 3D concert film 'Metallica: Through the Never' for ages now. Though that may be true, the film will finally hit theaters in the next few weeks, but to give you a taste of 'Through the Never,' Metallica have unveiled two behind-the-scenes clips from the flick.
When Metallica were in San Diego last week to promote their upcoming 3D movie 'Metallica Through the Never,' they also played a 'secret' show at the Spreckels Theatre that night (July 19). They have now posted an official video recap of that gig (watch above).

Over 100 fans captured the band from all angles using the glasses-free 3D LG Thrill 4G as the band played "Ocean Size", "Mountain Song", the new song "Irresistible Force", and a special acoustic performance of "Jane Says".
