Summer is often thought of as the best season to release a blockbuster movie. The same could be said for music. The summer of 2014 will be one to remember with my most highly-anticipated albums.
It looks like we can add another one of rock's heavy hitters to the release schedule this year. Rise Against have headed online to tease the fact that the band is back in the studio working on a new album for 2014.

Metallica started 2013 in a big way by revealing that they would be staging their second annual Orion Music + More Festival in Detroit on June 8 and 9. Now, the band has unveiled the bands that will join them at the two-day extravaganza. Among the acts sharing the stage with Metallica will be Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deftones, Rise Against and more.

Rise Against started off 2012 on the road and they haven’t stopped since. We recently reported that the band will be part of this year’s Riot Fest in Chicago, and now Rise Against have announced dates for a fall 2012 North American tour.
