Game ON!(?)

Twenty-four games will make up the 2020-21 Western Hockey League's covid-delayed season and in a statement, the league said it is committed to giving players a chance to have the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the system and continue to pursue their hockey goals. The WHL Board of Governors announced a commitment to play a WHL 2020-21 Regular Season. The start date for the season will be determined once final approval has been received from the Health Authorities in each provincial and state jurisdiction and it is anticipated the approvals will be received soon.

All of the models and schedule formats are being considered as this fluid situation remains, well, fluid.

The Toyota Center and the Tri-City Americans office both remain closed at this time. If fans have any questions about their ticket accounts they can contact the Tri-City Americans through email at info@amshockey.com.

And yes, all proper COVID-19 protocols were strictly followed. That story, part of an overall great piece from the beat writer of the Canadiens', Stu Cowan, reminiscing about Price with Tory, can be read here.
