Major Bust Near Ephrata Nets Drugs, Guns Cash and More

A 49-year-old man is in the Grant County Jail facing a wide variety of charges after a Grant County Sheriff's Office raid Tuesday.

An Ephrata man apparently was trying his hand at Breaking Bad.

Eric Carlin Craig was arrested when deputies served warrants at a home just north of Ephrata, at 16860 Frey Road. According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, here's what he's facing:

"...investigation of delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful use of a building for drug purposes, criminal conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled substance (heroin & methamphetamine) with intent to distribute."

Besides finding 2.32 pounds of processed (illegally grown) pot, authorities also found heroin, meth, and cocaine on the premises. They also seized two firearms, ammunition, and a lot of cash.

Deputy investigators said the case began to be worked in March, and other suspects related to the case are expected to be found. This could just be the tip of the iceberg.

No other information was released, likely because this is still an ongoing investigation.
