Police are looking into the spray painting of some graffiti found on the side of the Richland Masonic Temple on Thayer Drive.

According to reports, it was noticed July 13, or had occurred sometime around then. Reports indicate it was two large words, but according to KEPR TV, the only photo is not suitable for public publishing due to profanity. It was of a racial nature.

It's interesting to note that the building painted was that of a fraternal organization. The Masons are not affiliated with any particular ethnic group.

Richland police say it's a possible hate crime; however, apparently the Temple doesn't have any outside security cameras, and so far no cameras nearby have angles or footage of that spot.
