Roundabout Driver ‘Flunks’ Geometry–Goes Straight Through

Late Sunday night (5-3), an impaired driver proved geometry is correct, but his application of it was ill advised.

26-year-old Enrique Ochoa decided the shortest distance between two points was a straight line, except he applied this as he was approaching the roundabout at 4th and Kellogg in Kennewick.

Police didn't say which direction he was headed, but he did just plow through the traffic circle instead of, well, you know.

He was arrested for DUI, and his car was towed. From the pictures it looks like it won't be going anywhere for a while. Roundabouts tend to tear up your suspension just a wee bit.
