Suspect ‘Self-Watering’ Apartment Busted After Fight with Cops
Early Monday morning, a suspect found himself in the Benton County jail after he got in a fight with Kennewick police.
Around 4AM, officers were in the area of South Olympia Street and West 7th Place by the Central Park Apartments answering a call when they noticed a man 'taking care of business.'
The suspect was relieving himself water-wise on the side of one of the buildings. Obviously, officers pulled over to investigate and the suspect got ugly. He gave them a fake name, then when they tried to apprehend him for false reporting, he kicked one of the policemen several times and struggled with others.
He was quickly dropped and detained, and now 19-year-old Alex Montejano-Lopez is facing multiple charges, including 3rd Degree Assault.
