Suspicious Dumpster Fires in Kennewick Investigated

Kennewick police are searching for the suspect (or suspects) who attempted to start three dumpster fires early Sunday morning.

While no other property damage was recorded, the fires were large enough to cause considerable damage and charring to three large dumpsters.  The fires were reported between 1:09 and 1:21am Sunday morning.

The location of the three fires, 601 South Kent, 1001 West 4th and 1114 West 10th, form a straight line North and South., and are are least a number of blocks away from each other. The fires were set just minutes apart, indicating the perpetrators probably used a car or some other transportation to get from one to the other.
