On 12-12-12 a bicyclist was struck and then dragged under a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, unaware that the bicyclist had been struck and trapped, continued to drive believing the vehicle was suffering a mechanical problem, and tried to move the vehicle off the roadway. The accident was witnessed by employees of Les Schwab Tires and Clearwater Collision and Towing.
A fast moving thunder storm passed through Tri-Cities last night causing a fire in Finley. Thank goodness no homes were damaged in the 500 acre fire. At one point between 10-20 homes were threatened however no one had to be evacuated.
According to Benton County Emergency Services, fires crews are fighting the large blaze.
Benton County Firefighters are currently on the scene of a major brush fire that started South of Clodfelter Rd. and I-82 in Benton County.
