Are you ready for HAPO Community Credit Union's 31st annual River of Fire celebration in Columbia Park July 4, 2017? It's the largest fireworks show in the Mid Columbia and one heck of a party!

This year's event is TUESDAY noon to end of show (although gates open at 7 a.m. if you want to set up a picnic area) at the east end of Columbia Park.

Free "train" rides for kids are noon to 8 p.m. Games open noon to 7 p.m. near the fishing pond ($1 each, must be accompanied by an adult)

Meet a "historic character" talking about America's heritage from the Sons & Daughter of the American Revolution from 1-2 p.m. at the information booth. SAR and DAR booth open noon to 8 p.m.

Firework show tentatively scheduled for 10 p.m. but it will depend on darkness level. Audio show simulcast on 98.3 FM, 870 AM, 97.1 FM, 97.5 FM and 102.7 FM sponsored by Critical Nursing Services, Inc.

$8 donation to enter the park with your vehicle. $1 off coupons available at Bush Car Washes.

This event helps raise funds for Kiwanis Club of the Horse Heaven Hills (kids Train), Academy of Children Theatre (Blue Gate), St. Joseph’s Knights of Columbus (Parking Crew).
