Behold the New World’s Strongest Beer: 67.5 Percent ABV ‘Snake Venom’ From Brewmeister
Nearly a year ago to the day, Brewmeister brewed up the ‘Armageddon’ with a record ABV of 65 percent. The Scottish brewery has recently outdone themselves with their latest creation, ‘Snake Venom’, which has an ABV of 67.5 percent! That’s about ten-times what you are getting out of your favorite domestic beerwater and even more than most whiskeys!
Although it is a beer by title, you wouldn’t want to be putting down a six pack of these things. One, because you would die before you could open your third beer (please no one accept that challenge) and two, it ain’t cheap. You can purchase both of Brewmeister’s beers from The Real Ale Company for around $80/bottle.
67.5% – 1 x 275ml Bottle – £50.00 ($80.78)
This unique beer is made with a plethora of malts including peat smoked malt, acid malt and chocolate malt. It is fermented using two types of yeast – ale yeast and champagne yeast in order to deliver a higher alcohol content. It is then painstakingly freeze concentrated.
65% ABV – 1 x 330ml Bottle – £55.00 ($88.86)
Armageddon – 65% World’s strongest beer which is made by freezing the beer and removing the water. It is then aged for 2-3 months. Notes of caramel and oak.
