Virginia Tech On Lockdown After Shooting; Cop and Bystander Dead

Numerous news sources are reporting that a Virginia Tech campus police officer was shot and killed this morning during a traffic stop. The shooter then ran toward a parking lot and a second person was found dead in that lot.

The killer is unidentified and on the loose. It is a man wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hat with green neon trim, and a back pack.

The school is on lockdown. Updates from the administration can be followed on Twitter.
