Kennewick Police Continue To Investigate Downtown Stabbing That Began with Fight at Jack Didleys
According to police, witnesses are not talking, and refuse to cooperate with police.
Still no arrests have been made stemming from an incident that occurred late Saturday night outside Jack Didley's bar in Downtown Kennewick.
According to police records, 28-year-old Phillip Gonzalez got into an argument inside the establishment just prior to midnight Saturday. Witnesses report after the fight, Gonzalez and other people were kicked out.
As Gonzalez was walking away, he was attacked by an unknown person or persons near West Kennewick Ave and Benton Streets. He suffered a stab wound, and was taken to Trios Health Care Center, formerly Kennewick General Hospital.
Bar staff reportedly pointed out witnesses who saw the incident, but according to police, none of them will cooperate with authorities. Police are asking anyone with information to call Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at 509-586-TIPS (8477).
