Tri-City Americans have Friday and Saturday night hockey nights this weekend against  Kootneay on Friday and a showdown with the division leading Everett Silvertips on Saturday night.

Reasons you'll want to make these games:

1)

Check out Pistol Pete on the 97 Rock Hard Work Day Presented by The Bunker. The 2 o'clock Box Office is open Friday with freebs. When prompted call 544-9797 to score pairs over the air up to a six pack!

2)

And congrats to the Americans Juuso Valimaki and Michael Rasmussen ranked in the top 10 of the NHL Central Scouting rankings in advance of the 2017 NHL Draft set for June 23-24 in Chicago. Rasmussen is a forward from Surrey, BC, and is ranked sixth among North American skaters, while Valimaki a defenseman from Nokia, Finland, is ranked ninth.

3)

The Ams lead all WHL clubs with six dudes ranked for the draft (Morgan Geekie F #50; Kyle Olson F #58; Dylan Coghlan D #84; Brett Leeson F #130) followed by Spokane with five. Yet, the Americans are getting zero love in the latest CHL poll. Americans public-address announcer John McKay breaks down the issue here. Go Ams!
