Kennewick police are searching for a man they say crashed his longboard into another man, then proceeded to pull a gun on him.

Around 1:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of W. 5th Ave and S. Rainier St for a report of a disturbance with a handgun.

The victim called 911 stating that a male riding a longboard had pulled a gun on him. The investigation revealed that the victim and two of his friends were in the area when the suspect male was riding his longboard eastbound on 5th Ave. The suspect male ran into the victim on his longboard causing him to become detached from the board, his anger ratcheted up as he fell to the ground.

The suspect male produced an alleged black handgun, pointed it at the victim, threatened them, cussed them out (the victim and his friends) then put the gun away and wheeled off to the southeast.

The suspect was described as a white male with a reddish/blonde beard. The suspect male was wearing a brown Carhart sweatshirt and beanie.
