Guns N' Roses' debut album, "Appetite for Destruction" released three decades ago, was NOT an instant smash across the country. In fact, record companies were doing deals with radio stations just to get airplay for "Welcome to the Jungle". It all seems sort of silly, now. But once the momentum started, it turned into the juggernaut that it still is: The best selling debut album of all time!
