A week before Thanksgiving, the Gesa Credit Union at 100 N. Huntington in Kennewick was robbed.

We have an update as a suspect in the robbery has been caught.

The Kennewick Police Department said 28-year-old Moises Marquez, of Prosser, was taken into custody in Yakima County for the bank robbery in Granger.

Detectives from Kennewick and Pasco responded to Yakima County to investigate the connection to the robberies in Tri-Cities. Kennewick detectives were able to obtain evidence linking Marquez to the Gesa Credit Union robbery on Nov. 18.

Robbery charges for Marquez have been forwarded to the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
