See more than "A" frame game today in Richland as people will be gathering at the Newcomer Street parking lot in Leslie Groves Park today at one o'clock to tour some of Richland's celebrated architecture. Sure the Richland landscape is dotted with many "alphabet homes" as the population at Hanford exponentially increased in the early 1940's, but if you look closer, and architecture types certainly do, and they like to share, you'll find some more very interesting styles.

While many people are familiar with Richland’s alphabet houses, few people realize that the city is also home to a significant number of mid-century modern houses. This volunteer-led walk will wander through North Richland looking at some of the more interesting examples of this international style. Meet at the Newcomer Street parking lot in Leslie Groves Park. It starts today at one.
