Football is a brutal game and occasionally players suffer terrible injuries. It's the nature of the beast. Today, in the 2nd quarter of the Tennessee Volunteers vs South Carolina Gamecocks, star Running Back and future NFL draftee Marcus Lattimore suffered a season ending and what could be career ending leg injury.

Lattimore was carted off and taken to the hospital to be examined. Early indications are multiple fractures and possibly an ACL/MCL tear. The dude has some terrible luck. He was knocked unconscious during the 2010 Chic-Fil-A Bowl against Florida State and just returned from a torn left knee ligament which he suffered around this time last year, causing him to miss the remainder of the season.
