Well that was fast! The news from Scott Weiland that he was back with Velvet Revolver and planning to record and tour came as a shock to fans, but no one may have been more surprised than guitarist Slash, who offered a denial when quizzed about it by Minneapolis/St. Paul station 93X.

They don’t have a singer and haven’t released a CD since 2007, but a new Velvet Revolver DVD is set to be released. ‘Let It Roll – Live In Germany’ will be in stores May 25.

Scott Weiland and Velvet Revolver coexist on the stage and it was all for a good cause. Check out the video of their benefit performance from last night.

Stone Sour and Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor sat down with Dave Kim of WGRD before last week's Avalanche Tour stop in Michigan. With Slipknot preparing to play their first shows without bassist Paul Gray, the obvious question is what is the plan for Slipknots future? “Nothing’s happening immediately, I can tell everyone that,” Taylor told WGRD. “We have no plans for an album, we have no plans to do anything other than this tour at the moment.” Taylor also talked about why he hates asians (total joke, btw), his other band Stone Sour, rumors involving him and Velvet Revolver, and his favorite terrible movies like Ice Spiders.
